I can’t help but to comment on a story that hit the front page of several newspapers yesterday claiming that the polar ice caps may melt by 2012.   Perhaps the most evident indication of journalistic bias was the blatant lack of counterpoints to the global warming hysteria or any substantive review of the irrefutable and factual history of the cyclical nature of climate change that has occurred for billions of years. 

So, I decided to the work that our liberal mainstream media won’t bother to do and the findings are quite indicative of a scientific dilemma.   While it does appear that the earth is warming by fractions of a degree over the past century, it also appears that this phenomenon is occurring on Mars and Pluto, so the movement to blame mankind is certainly flawed and makes the true socialist agenda of the insipid warming crowd even more transparent. 

In a study published this week in the International Journal of Climatology it was concluded that that while most of the models predicted that the middle and upper parts of the troposphere —1 to 6 miles above the Earth's surface — would have warmed drastically over the past 30 years, actual observations showed only a little warming, especially over tropical regions.  Couple this with expansion of southern hemisphere polar caps and suddenly the Al Gore kool aid drinkers have some explaining to do.

These findings come on the heals of a UN Conference in which liberal elitists used private leer jets to fly to Bali to discuss ways to cut carbon emissions starting with the government taking more of your money in the name of saving Mother Earth.   It’s high time that Americans woke up to see through this charade but when you have a lack of journalistic integrity so pervasive in the mainstream media this may be an insurmountable challenge. 

In other news that you won’t hear on the 6 o’clock news, a contingent of Democrats voted against Christmas.  Just when I thought that the Christmas bashing was over for the year, I come to find out that there was a vote in the House to recognize Christmas and the Christian faith.    While this resolution passed, it is interesting to note that there were several members, all Democrats of course, who voted against this resolution and then turned around and voted for a resolution recognizing the commencement of Ramadan. Those who put terrorism ahead of Christianity are as follows:  Rep. Gary Ackerman (N.Y.), Rep. Yvette Clarke (N.Y.), Rep. Diane DeGette (Colo.), formerly impeached judge Rep. Alcee Hastings (Fla.), Rep. Jim McDermott (Wash.), Rep. Robert Scott (Va.), Rep. Pete Stark (Calif.) and Rep. Lynn Woolsey (Calif.). 

Where, Oh Where is the Annual Assault on Christmas?

Is the assault on Christmas really over?  Given the lack of media coverage of anything remotely politically correct I’d like to think so but I am having my doubts.  My guess is that there is something much more sinister at work with the mainstream media grinch that usually loathes Christmas is actually suppressing any anti-Christmas stories.  Seriously, do you ever recall a year where just two weeks away from Christmas we hadn’t heard of carols being banned, Santa blasted,  Christmas trees renamed holiday trees or San Francisco working to outlaw icicle lights in the name of saving Mother Earth? 

If you step back and look at the big picture in this day and age when liberals want to ban everything related to freedom, liberty, culture and faith perhaps this will start to make sense.  After all, we are going into an election year and anti-Christian rhetoric will hurt only one political party and it sure isn’t the GOP.  Is it possible that the media has awoken from their stupor and realized that sharing these stories of hatred and disdain towards our faith could actually hurt the chances of Hillary Clinton being coronated for a third term in office? 

My guess is the media woke up shortly after calls to give gatecrashing criminals weren't received with a standing ovation from real Americans.  Remember, in the eyes of the liberal elitists real Americans are nothing more than a bunch of gun totin’, pickup drivin’ rebels who don’t want to do our part to redistribute wealth.   While the mainstream media believe that they know what is best for us dumb folk they also realize that we voted for George Bush not once, but twice, despite their using every weapon in their arsenal to destroy his administration. 

The truth is that the stories are out there because we all know that the assault on Christmas continues.   However, with religion being an unexpectedly large part of the ongoing election debate the media has decided to suppress any story that might give conservatives fodder against the anti-freedom of religion left.   Remember, liberals are going to have a hard enough time on the whole religion issue because their faith is liberalism, a religion rooted in tenets of government, taxation and limitation of freedoms.

My guess is the stories are out there, but are being suppressed in the same manner that any good news from Iraq is quickly tossed in the circular file.    In all likelihood San Francisco has banned the word Christmas, Berkeley has outlawed Santa Claus and  government schools across the land are referring to Christmas vacation as something more lame such as holiday or winter breaks.  

I’m sure the Christians aren’t alone as the Jews are being attacked for lighting their menorahs that somehow contribute to global warming or depletion of the ozone layer.   Some poor parents have been accused of child abuse for taking their kids to see Santa Claus.   Choirs across the land still can’t sing Christmas carols because it may offend someone, somewhere.

This is again an inconvenient truth for liberals who can attempt to mask their true intentions but we all know that if you put lipstick on a pig it is still a pig.   The assault on Christmas will be back with a vengeance soon enough, but this year it appears that liberals have given Christmas a break.   Perhaps if they would give it a permanent break we would be a better nation, but then again a liberal just wouldn’t be a liberal if they stood for religious freedom and expression now would they.

‘Twas the Night Before Nothing

'Twas the night before Nothing and all through the land,
The liberals were giddy now that Christmas was banned;
No stockings to hang, no presents to buy ,
As good ol’ Saint Nick had been hung out to dry;

The children were now all wards of the state,
As government rationed their food and their fate;
God had been banned, the Bible condemned,

By judges and teachers who common sense offends,
No candy, no cookies and certainly no trees,

As the ACLU outlawed Christmas with judicial decree;

As I sat in the ER amidst government squalor,

I heard in the distance a very loud holler; 

I jumped to my feet and looked all around,

I stared out the window toward the oncoming sound;

The moon on the breast of the fast melting snow,

Made Al Gore believe global warming lie just below;

When what to my wondering eyes should I see,

But a long black limo with Teddy Kennedy;

But he wasn’t alone, he had a drink and a date,

Who’d probably end up swimming, meeting her fate;
 Along for the ride, his coursers they came,

They were bound to George Soros and shackled in chains;

"Now, Kucinich! now,Carter! Now, Clinton and Kerry!
On, Boxer! on Edwards! on, Obama and Harry!
To the top of the courts! To rebuilding the wall!
Bring on the Marxism for not one but all!"

Burquas had now become part of the land,

The liberal solution to multicultural demand;

Ebonics education and Spanish at work,

If you don’t comply, liberals call you a jerk;

Government knows best, so don’t try to defend,

Freedom of speech which liberals say can offend;

First they banned Christmas, then planes and then cars,

Except for the leer jets liberals fly near and far;

We tried to fight back to save our homeland,

But the courts and the liberals made sure all guns were banned;

Our culture, our nation and our flag were in shreds,

As liberals controlled the media that brainwashed our heads;

Parents were banned from raising their young,

As government schools turned their brains into dung;

God was kicked out of the pledge to the flag,

While children were expelled for playing Dodgeball and tag;

Houses were seized, transfats were banned,

Plastic was outlawed and so was owning land;

Uttering the word God landed you in jail,

If you prayed in a school, then you surely would fail;

Dependence was the norm in this once great land,

Where government saw to it that freedom was banned;

People got to their knees and snuck in a prayer,

Seeking salvation from this awful affair;

But alas rose a hero, the kind liberals dread,

Who fought with a vengeance, shooting liberalism in the head;

Christmas was back, so were my guns,

Freedom of speech and justice for everyone;

His name was Common Sense who we had long feared dead,

But he rose from the ashes, his will to be fed;

Real Americans rose up, once and for all,

To silence the evil that had made freedom fall;

It takes not a village, which we burned clear to the ground,

Because we can only raise kids with a mom and dad around;

We drilled for oil in the tundra up there,

Now the terrorists are starving and we really don’t care;

The border is sealed once and for all,

There’s no more illegals working at the mall;

Our kids get a choice in where they go to school,

No longer the prisoners of the government fool;

The liberals were scared, since they can’t compete,

In the arena of ideas where they suffer defeat;

Their hatred of freedom was soon put to bed

As Common Sense ruled in the land they now dread.

The next thing we’ll do is win the Fair Tax fight,
and wish everyone Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night.
